Hugh is a University of South Carolina graduate who played with the USC Guitar Ensemble and then with the University of Texas Early Music Ensemble while getting his doctorate in music composition.  He is the composer of several published guitar compositions and gives frequent performances as well as teaching a large group of private students.

Afsoneh Esfandiari

Afsoneh, a recent graduate of Georgetown HS, is an aspiring singer/songwriter.  She accrued many honors during her school career, including many years of participation in All-Region Choir, All-Region Orchestra, and Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest where she was named Outstanding Performer in2009.

Patty Esfandiari 
(oboe, English horn, recorders)

Patty studied oboe with Richard Blair at The University of Texas and has taught privately as well as playing with various ensembles, including the Austin Symphony.   She currently plays with the Mid-Tex Symphony based in Seguin and works in the University Interscholastic League Music Division.

Chris Humphrey
(bassoon, recorders, hurdy gurdy, percussion)

After graduating from The University of Texas with a degree in English, Chris went back to school to study music theory and composition at the University of Houston.  
She is a former church organist and choir mistress, and currently plays with the Annoying Instruments Orchestra, a world music ensemble.   In addition, Chris creates theatrical sound design.

Peggy Sexton
(percussion, timpani, recorders)

A University of Texas graduate, Peggy has played with the Austin and San Antonio symphony orchestras, Texas Baroque Ensemble, Texas Bach Choir, University of Texas Early Music Ensemble, and Austin Symphonic Band.  She is a specialist in early and ethnic percussion and the author of several books on historic percussion.
